How many ways can you tell a fairytale? |
After reading and comparing various modern day and traditional fairy tales, write a multi-paragraph tabloid article that modernizes a traditional fairytale with present day reporting techniques. Analyze the characteristics and plot elements that are typically found in the genre to plan the features of your story. How can you include the elements of plot within your news report? How can you incorporate the characteristics of fairytales for the modern day reader?

Take notes on the bottom half of the page for each story element based on the power point. Then read the story of Snow White and list the elements of that story on the top of each section.
